Cialis

Brand Name: Cialis

Generic Names: Tadalafil

Cialis is used for treating erectile dysfunctions in men. In other words, it inhibits the protein responsible for erectile dysfunction and allows, together with sexual stimulation, achieving an erection.  Cialis is known as the super Viagra because it acts faster and longer than the Viagra. It is enough to take Cialis 15 minutes before intercourse and the effect can last up to 36 hours.

What is Cialis?

Cialis is a yellow, film-coated tablet in a shape of an almond that is designed to treat erectile dysfunction. It is commonly called as the “Weekend Pill” owing largely to its ability to stay effective for 36 hours. This is not taken regularly, instead it is labeled as “as needed” drug, taken only if there is an anticipated contact. It is available in 5mg, 10mg and 20mg tablets.

Cialis is also effective treatment against the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) of male patients. Another form of Tadalafil, with brand name Adcirca, is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.

Important information about Cialis

Cialis is not a “miracle sex drug” for everyone. It must be given by a physician as deemed necessary after a checking the condition of an individual if he is fit enough to engage in a sexual activity.

It is not recommended to take more than 1 tablet of Cialis per day as the effectiveness of the drug could last for 36hours.

A number of cases have been reported of a sudden loss of vision. This happens because Cialis can alter the flow of blood to the optic nerve of the eye.

Contact your physician if the erection becomes suddenly painful or if it lasts for more than 4 hours as this could possibly damage the penis itself.

Who should not use?

Before taking Cialis, check with your doctor especially if you previously have or is currently suffering from the following:

Heart disease

Kidney diseases

Liver Diseases

Physical deformity of the penis

Heart Attack

Do not take Cialis if you are allergic to tadalafil or any of its ingredients. Heart attack or stroke could happen if Cialis is taken with any nitrate drugs as it could bring down the blood pressure immediately.

How should I use/take Cialis?

When the blood flow from the penis is reduced, the erectile dysfunction occurs. Cialis acts by increasing the blood flow to the penis, which allows having and maintaining an erection throughout intercourse.

Moreover, with Cialis you can plan your sex life, which contributes to an improvement of the relations between you and your partner.  Cialis naturally restores the erectile function by increasing the blood flow towards the penis.

This drug is taken only when needed, a few minutes before the sexual activity and may be taken with or without food. It is important to follow the doctor’s orders and should be taken as prescribed.
